We're overjoyed to announce that all 6 books are now available exclusively at Local Roots & Co shops in Douglas and the Marina Market - the only shops in Cork where families can pick up these heart-led magical stories.

Our books are created for neurodivergent children but their magic is for every child. These books celebrate being, not becoming - building confidence, kindess and imagination - while offering emotional support. They are already trusted in schools, clinics and educational settings.

We are especially proud to partner with Dr John Collier, whose commitment to the community, support for neurodivergent children and care for local families is inspiring. His shops aren't just stores, they're vibrant welcoming spaces that mirror the values in every Mrs Appleberry story.

We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support we've received from Boyles of Ballyseedy and especially Ray Kane of Grey Rain Antiques.

Boyles of Ballyseedy isn't just a fantastic destination for home, garden and community events, they've gone the extra mile to create truly inclusive experiences. Their sensory garden and sensory- friendly festive programming (like a calmer Santa visit with dimmed lights, lower noise and staff trained to support sensory needs) show a real understanding of and care for neurodivergent children and families. That level of thoughtful, practical inclusion makes it a space where everyone can feel welcome and comfortable.

Ray Kane of Grey Rain Antiques doesn't shout about it, but anyone who knows him will tell you he's the definition of steady kindness, someone who actively supports neurodivergent voices and local intiatives with generosity and heart. His encouragement and advocacy have made a meaningful impact on our work and on the families we serve.

We are honoured to partner with such, thoughful, community-minded stockists who understand that inclusion isn't a slogan, it's something you live every day.

Come visit for a little magic among the antiques!

Inside Out Therapy is a neuro-affirming therapeutic service based in Croom, Co. Limerick, focused on supporting children and young people with a range of social, emotional and behavioural needs - including Autism, ADHD and related neurodivergent profiles.

Their team blends behavioural psychology with psychotherapeutic approaches and works closely with families to build meaningful, strength-based support that respects each child's way of being. Kevin Rea and his crew bring big-heart energy and collaboration to every referral, making them a stockist we're genuinely proud to work with.

Mrs Appleberry Press books are currently available in schools, clinics, youth projects and doctor's surgeries, helping children build confidence, kindness and imagination wherever they go. They don't define or fix. Children are simply the heroes of their own stories.

For neurodivergent children, the books act as mirrors, reflecting their experiences and helping them to see themselves positively. For neurotypical children, they act as a window, offering a glimpse into the lives and perspectives of children who think and experience the world differently. Our books celebrate neurodivergence, normalising and destigmatising difference while encouraging children to live fully as they are.

We are now working to make them available nationwide in as many schools and eucational settings as possible, so they can be enjoyed by children and used as a valuable therapeutic tool.

Stay tuned!

Note: If you'd like to bring them into your school, clinic or educational setting, please get in touch - we'd love to make it happen.
