Dear Reader,

I’m so delighted to introduce you to my new company, Mrs. Appleberry Press. My children’s stories are born from love, honesty, adventure, compassion, and a touch of playful mischief — because they are, at heart, reflections of my own life in this crazy, beautiful world.

​

The name Mrs. Appleberry has a special history. It began as the name I playfully gave myself while minding my young nieces and nephews. In that role, Mrs. Appleberry became a bringer of magic, imagination, and laughter — memories I’ll treasure forever. Those same children, my beloved nieces and nephews, remain the greatest inspiration behind every story I write. I often borrow their names for my characters as a tribute to them — the children I never had, but who live in my heart and on my pages.

And then, there is the black cat. She represents my late companion, Molly — my little best friend — now immortalised in my logo. Just as Molly’s spirit lingers, so too does the heart of truth in every tale I create.

It is my dream that every child who picks up one of my books takes away a gift — whether it be calm, joy, love, acceptance, or simply the thrill of adventure.
